What is the difference between a proforma and commercial invoice?

A proforma invoice is a preliminary bill sent before goods are shipped — it outlines the price, description, and terms but is not a demand for payment. A commercial invoice is the final official document issued after shipment, used by customs authorities to assess duties. Use proforma for quotes and L/C applications; use commercial invoice for actual shipments.

How do I save this as a PDF?

Click Print / Save PDF → in the print dialog, set destination to "Save as PDF". In Chrome: More settings → Paper size A4, Margins: Minimum, disable "Headers and footers". The form sidebar is automatically hidden during printing — only the invoice appears.

Is my data stored anywhere?

No. Everything runs entirely in your browser. No data is sent to any server — your invoice details never leave your device. The tool works offline once the page has loaded.

Can I add my company logo?

Logo upload is on our roadmap. For now, you can paste your company name and contact info in the Seller section, then after printing, open the PDF in a PDF editor to add your logo image. Most free PDF editors (Smallpdf, PDF24) support this.
